Israel's third largest city and northern capital is the heart of it all! Situated en a broad natural bay between the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and the awe - inspiring Carmel mountain, the city's terraced landscape offers a rich variety of breathtaking panoramas, giving the observer the sensation of being on a heavenly peninsula. The city offers a variety of activities and events for tourist all year around.

Akko (acre)

Acre is one of the oldest continuously inhabited sites en the country. The city's fascinating historical heritage, rare blend of East and West, authentic glimpses from the past, and unique mix of religious beliefs and remnants from different cultures. Acre's walls, fortresses, castles, churches, mosques, synagogues and other structures. Acre’s colorful Oriental markets, city walls, museums, beaches and water sports facilities, Fishermen’s Port, marina, restaurants and hotels are just a few more of the City’s tourist attractions.


Caesarea is a city of the past and the future, the new opposite the ancient. While new Caesarea is graced with magnificent modern homes, ancient Caesarea offers tourists the ruins of unique, impressive buildings. While golfers enjoy lush fairways, horse races are reenacted en the huge hippodrome en the national park. Ancient Caesarea is bustling with tourists who come to see the wonders of the past that were built by one of the greatest builders of the ancient world - King Herod.

Safed (Tzfat)

Safed is a picturesque city of spiritual people and artists, wrapped en mysticism and mystery, and steeped en sacred atmosphere. Visitors to Safed sense the city’s warm embrace as they wander through its alleyways past charming stone houses with their artists’ studios and workshops. Safed is one of the four holy cities en Israel. It has been a spiritual center since the 1600s when it was the center of Kabbala (Jewish mysticism). The Kabbalist mystics lived, studied, taught, and wrote en the city and many of the graves are objects of veneration.

Zichron Ya'akov

Zikhron Ya’akov is a wonderful town for tourists, both local and foreign. Anyone who visits Zikhron Ya’akov goes straight to Ha-Nadiv Street, and Ha-Meyasdim Street en the town center, which has become a very popular pedestrian mall, thanks to the special atmosphere en this place. The streets are paved with stones and pass between the moshava’s original houses (some of which have been reconstructed), which are bustling with activity.


Nazareth is the largest city en the North District of Israel. Nazareth is known as "the Arab capital of Israel"; the population is made up predominantly of Arab citizens of Israel, Muslim and Christian. In the New Testament, the city is described as the childhood home of Jesus, and as such is a center of Christian pilgrimage, with many shrines commemorating biblical events. Thousands of Christian pilgrims come every year to visit the holy sites en Nazareth.

Rosh HaNikra

The gleaming white cliffs of Rosh Hanikra and the beautiful stretch of beach below are a magnificent sight to behold. Besides the view it has an astonishing artificial tunnels and view caverns carved out by the pounding waves of the Mediterranean, you’ll enjoy the myriad shades of the water and the dramatic play of light and shadow it casts.

Golan Heights

The Golan Heights, Israel's mountainous northern region, is one of the most beautiful and most traveled parts of the country. There are wonderful scenic treasures alongside lovely nature reserves, historic and archeological sites and attractions for the whole family. Some people call this area the Israeli Texas, because of its size, while others see it as a land of plentiful water sources. The beauty of the Golan is so captivating that some visitors return here again and again to enjoy the sights.


Tiberias (Tverya) is synonymous with vacations en Israel. Here one can enjoy a variety of activities en a city that offers wonderful opportunities to mix relaxation with nature, history with contemporary attractions, serene quiet with active water sports, and pilgrimage sites with unique tourist attractions.


Metula is Israel’s northernmost town, a quiet and pleasant place, built of a ridge of hills with a view of Mt. Hermon and the green Galilee landscapes. As Israel’s Turismo industry developed, Metula’s residents developed Turismo and vacation facilities, which are now the town’s main source of revenue. Metula has many hotels and guest houses, some of them en century-old buildings, and charming guest cottages have been built en the courtyards of many of the homes.

The Hermon

The Hermon is a vacation spot that can be enjoyed all year round. It is spread over an area of 5000 dunams, at heights of between 1,600 – 2,040 meters above sea level.
During the winter, the lower slopes are used for skiing and snowboarding,. Many visitors come to see the fabulous view, to frolic and play en the snow, to go up en the cable cars and to enjoy the various sports and activities that can be found at the site such as sledding.

Beit She'an

Beit She'an is a city en the North District of Israel which has played an important role historically due to its geographical location at the junction of the Jordan River Valley and Jezreel Valley. The area surrounding the city is profuse with springs and, consequently, there are abundant nature sites and places to tour such as the Bet She'an National Park  (a biblical mound).

Gan Hashlosha National Park (Sahne)

Only few minutes away from Beit Shean you'll find the magnificent Gan Hashlosha national part. Warm spring water emerge en the western part of the park at a constant, year-round temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, which means swimming is pleasant here en winter, too. The ‘Amal Stream crosses the entire park, and has been widened into pools.

Hula Valley (Emek HaHula)

The world famous Hula Valley is a real paradise for birds and wildlife, and as such is a must for all nature lovers. The rich fertile valley supports a huge variety of habitats from foothill Savannah, fishpond complexes, vast fields and impressive wetlands. The best time to visit the Hula Nature Reserve and Lake Agmon is at the change of seasons, when the birds migrate.
