Short-Term Programs for Graduate Students
Students who have completed their undergraduate degree but would like to further their studies are welcome to enroll for a semester or year in the International School. These students benefit from all of the components of the regular International School Program, but have the opportunity to enrich their studies by designing a directed-reading course or independent research project in a topic of their choice. The program for recent BA graduates / current MA students is ideal for students who want to explore subjects they were not able to study in their undergraduate degrees as well as students who are looking for more experience before applying to a graduate program.
Academics
Students are expected to take between three to five courses a semester. In addition to the courses that we offer, students in the program are welcome to enroll in any of our specialty programs: Honors Programs in Psychology, and Peace & Conflict Studies; Global Law Program; and the Internship Program. TAU's unique summer programs offer undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to learn a new language and enroll in inspiring courses in a variety of fields, including contemporary, global, and Middle East topics.
TAU International summer programs are designed for students who are willing to challenge themselves with an invigorating academic schedule that combines classroom learning, field trips, overnight trips, guest speakers, evening workshops, social evening events and much more.
The summer program track at TAU International is a great option for students who wish to study in Israel but have a limited time frame, or for students who simply want to spend a summer in Tel Aviv and partake in a unique academic experience.
TAU International summer programs are taken for credit and can be taken either as part of the curriculum or as an extra activity that expands students??? perspectives for future studies and work.

Students can choose to take one or two classes that will be taught three hours a day, three days a week. All courses are taught in English and are open to students above the age of 18 with a high school diploma as well as adult learners. Each summer course awards three academic credits.

International Summer Certificate Program in Identity-Based Conflict Resolution
This new Summer Program, taught in English, includes internships in peace NGOS and in related think tanks, and offers students the opportunity to earn 11 graduate academic credits in a period of four weeks (July) and get a certificate. These credits are recognized worldwide in conjunction with home/future universities.
The program is open to holders of undergraduate/graduate degrees and current graduate students from various disciplines in the social sciences, the liberal arts and the humanities. Taking only some of the courses is possible.
The Preparatory Program (Mechina) & Ulpan
The Mechina is a special study program for New Immigrants (Olim Chadashim) and tourists, run in conjunction with the Student Authority at the Israel Ministry of Absorption. This program is intended for immigrants or tourists who have completed their high school education overseas. The aim of the program is to prepare overseas students for higher education in Israel, and to instill them with the knowledge of Hebrew (through the Ulpan program included within the Mechina), Jewish history and traditions, and Israeli culture and customs.
The One Year Program for Overseas students, titled "The Israel Experience", offers the benefits of a relatively small, intimate program (limited to 100 English-speaking students), combined with the resources an infrastructure of a top-notch University.
Bar-Ilan - Yeshiva University Summer Science Internships
This exciting new program enables talented undergraduate science majors to work for up to 2 months in the research group of one of Bar-Ilan's more than 180 distinguished faculty members in the biological and/or physical sciences. The overall research focus is on electrokinetics in micro- and nano-fluidics with main interests in non-linear effects due to ion-permselectivity of nanochannels (e.g. concentration-polarization, overlimiting current) and their interaction with nanoparticles and biomolecules.
Besides fundamental research we target a number of application areas involving mainly energy-related (e.g. electro-chemo-mechanical energy-conversion), healthcare (e.g. Lab-on-a-chip, immuno-assay) and other (e.g. artificial ion-channels, nanofluidic electronic circuit equivalents).
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will lead and perform experimental research on electrokinetics in nanofluidics involving nanoparticles and biomolecules. S/He should have an earned Ph.D. and strong analytical and experimental skills in fluid mechanics and transport phenomena. In addition, micro- and nano-fabrication skills are required.
